Description

Using firing clay we will construct a simple slab-plate or dish. Surface textures, and decorate edges are an option too. Then we focus on creating human forms that will either be emerging upright from the dish or lying in it.. Underglazes can be applied to the figures and edges, and pooling glaze will be added to the surface of the dish to make your figure appear to be contained within water.

It will take 2-3weeks for first firing to be completed, then a second visit is included in the price to add your underglaze painting (or you can paint during the first class if you get the time.)
