At Children’s Art Australia – A Little Creative, we believe that creativity is for everyone. Our mission is to inspire and empower people of all ages to explore the joy of making art and to encourage creativity as a regular, meaningful part of everyday life.

Founded in 2011 and proudly based on the Sunshine Coast, A Little Creative offers a vibrant mix of art experiences designed for both children and adults. From private workshops, school incursions, and OSHC programs to birthday parties, community events, and professional development for teachers—we bring creative opportunities to a wide range of settings. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your skills, we make art accessible, fun, and fulfilling. We also offer high-quality art materials and curated art packs so that anyone can enjoy making art at home.

The creative force behind the business is Melinda Saunders, a qualified teacher and multi-disciplinary artist with a background in graphic design, ceramics, painting, printmaking, architectural design, and photography. As a passionate educator and mother of two, Melinda has built A Little Creative to be a warm, inclusive, and inspiring space—perfect for individuals, families, and creative minds of all kinds.

Our welcoming studio is located at 138 Bulcock Street, Caloundra, QLD, and we run workshops and events throughout the Sunshine Coast. We also collaborate with schools, learning centres, and local festivals to spread the joy of creativity throughout the community.
