Friday 21st August: Paint and Sip 6:30-8:30pm “Female-figure and Lines”
Enjoy a fun evening creating your painted masterpiece, while enjoying a cocktail or two and fun times with friends.
Located at Two-Tides Café (50 Bulcock Street, Caloundra) you will enjoy a welcoming cocktail or mocktail whilst getting organised and listening to starting instructions from your painting master (A Little Creative Teacher).
We will explain all necessary painting details: background, foreground. Consideration of overall composition and balance, and painting techniques. We encourage individual expression and ideas – but will help you to keep things simple and effective for novice/nervous artists too. Your art teacher will be nearby every step of the way, and the bar is open all evening too!
This particular topic choice focuses on the female form in a whimsical way. Choose your own favourite colours and forms – we focus on the specific details of the face of your female, then have fun with curves and lines to fill the space harmoniously. Your female could be yourself / someone you know / or completely random.
Choice of art-supports: canvas/boards/300gsm paper to suit your display needs.
