Saturday 26th September: Pokemon Paint and Sip!

For kids: 2-4pm $55

For Adults/teens: 6:30-8:30pm $65

A fun painting arvo for kids to share their favourite characters, sip a milkshake from Two Tides Cafe and paint their own masterpiece!

Or evening event of the older kids/adults creating your painting while enjoying a cocktail or two and fun times with friends.

Located at Two-Tides Café (50 Bulcock Street, Caloundra) you will enjoy a welcoming cocktail or mocktail whilst getting organised and listening to starting instructions from your painting master (A Little Creative Teacher).

We will explain all necessary painting details: background, foreground. Consideration of overall composition and balance, and painting techniques. We encourage individual expression and ideas – but will help you to keep things simple and effective for novice/nervous artists too. Your art teacher will be nearby every step of the way, and the bar is open all evening too!

This particular topic choice focuses on painting your favourite Pokemon characters and scenes! Bring your favourite Pokemon card as a reference, or see our painted examples on display. Sophie will guide you with sketching and composing your artwork – then blocking in colours and the best order and techniques for painting the finer details.

*Some students may need longer time to complete their artwork – so they can take it home for finishing details, or return to the studio another time to work on it with teacher guidance.

Choice of art-supports: canvas/boards/300gsm paper to suit your display needs.
