2 hours of BEGINNER wheel throwing. Learn the absolute basics of throwing on the pottery wheel, you will have very focussed attention from our teachers as you practice to ‘centre’ the clay, and then learn to ‘open-up’ and ‘pull-up’ the sides of your pot. Be aware that it is not as easy as it looks!! You will definitely get a bit messy, and make a few wonky pots (and some will no doubt collapse along the way too!).

A lot of fun for all ages – we have a variety of wheels that can suit children or adults (but only two that spin in a clockwise direction to suit left-handers – so if you are a lefty please let us know when you book!)

Your class price includes the price of your three best wheel items to be dried and fired. (we will trim them for you – and add on any handles if they are to be mugs) – and for you to come back and paint them too! (They will take about 3 weeks to dry and be bisque fired, and then need a final glaze firing)
